Edit this post

A lot of people are falling into blog searching for "How to change the keyboard layout in Kubuntu" so I'm posting.

Contrary to what many think, is not a big deal, it is actually quite easy.

*Click in image to see all image

First open System configuration.
habilitar-layout-kde-1-mini
Now go to Regional and Language
habilitar-layout-kde-2-mini
And finally you select the layout:
habilitar-layout-kde-3-mini

  1. Click in keyboard layout.
  2. Select Enable keyboard layouts.
  3. Select your layout.
  4. Click in right arrow to enable(or double click in selected layout)
  5. Apply the changes.

Ready, layout changed :)
